About Trousseau Style

Trousseau Style started when owner, Lauren Hartman was engaged and struggling to find the "perfect" outfit for her engagement photos. Although she worked in the fashion industry, she couldn't seem to find the time to scour the web (and forget about taking a trip to the mall!) to find a little white dress. She knew she couldn't be the only bride-to-be with a hefty to-do list and an appetite for perfection.

Since then, Trousseau Style has worked with brides in Philadelphia, New York, Washington, D.C. and remotely to source the most special fashion elements for all the events surrounding the wedding (engagement photos, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, honeymoon, etc.) and the Big Day.

In 2016, Trousseau Style grew into a full service personal styling, helping clients define their personal style, edit their wardrobe, curate the perfect closet and so much more.

About Lauren

Like most professionals in the fashion industry, Lauren Hartman had a strong interest in style from the beginning. But, it was her struggle with her own personal style that drove her to start Trousseau Style and help other women express themselves through fashion.

After working in the fashion industry for 7 years and letting her job (and generous employee discount) dictate her personal style, Lauren felt lost when looking for the creative expression she knew as a child, teenager and young adult. She asked herself, "does my personal style reflect me?" When the answer was "no," Lauren did some soul searching and built a wardrobe that empowered her.

Lauren understands the life cycles women go through and that your wardrobe can be a scary place full of skinnier memories and unattainable goals. It's Lauren's goal to empower women through their wardrobe, whether they're getting married, living the #bosslife or taking the kids to school. Fashion should be fun and easy.
